Hi, I’m Tom—founder of Lumio.

Before launching Lumio, I spent ~20 years in enterprise IT, helping design and deliver large-scale technical solutions for some of the world’s most recognized companies. I’ve worked with Fortune 100 clients like Accenture, GE, US Bank, UnitedHealth, Dish Network, and Best Buy — building enterprise storage, compute, and networking solutions across on-prem and cloud-based infrastructures.

But in 2023, things changed. I began exploring the power of Generative AI and LLMs (large language models, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) — and I was hooked. What once seemed impossible (or required teams of developers) suddenly became achievable using AI combined with low-code tools like Make.com and n8n. Entirely new ways of doing business opened up — and I wanted to be part of it.

That’s when I decided to pivot. I stepped away from big enterprise projects and went all-in on AI and Automation — but with a new focus: helping small businesses.

Why the shift? Because I’ve experienced firsthand how hard it is to build something new with limited time, tools, and resources. Running a small business means wearing multiple hats, juggling competing priorities, and constantly switching gears — all while trying to grow.

Today, I partner with business owners and operators across Colorado who want to level up (not replace) their teams and systems by building smarter, more automated workflows that support the way they already work.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me hiking Colorado trails, camping, reading, or enjoying a cold beer on a sunny patio.
